Brittany earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to her legal studies, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish at The Pennsylvania State University, where she consistently achieved Dean's List honors.
Brittany's diverse legal experience includes externships and clerkships that have provided her with a strong foundation in various areas of law, particularly family law and civil litigation. Brittany worked as a Legal Extern for Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law. Brittany gained invaluable experience in family law, conducting client interviews, drafting detailed declarations based on oral testimony, and managing essential court form submissions, including Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) and waivers. Brittany also worked as a legal extern for a Civil Litigation firm where she developed skills in personal injury law, reviewing accident details and medical documentation, drafting demand letters for client injuries, and preparing various court forms and discovery requests such as Requests for Production and Interrogatories. Brittany also worked as a law clerk for a Civil Litigation firm where she assisted in a federal trial, contributing to jury selection, evidence organization, and motion drafting. She also performed time-sensitive legal research, drafted Meet and Confer letters, Motions for New Trials, and summarized deposition and trial transcripts.
Brittany also had experience working as a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office - Van Nuys Criminal Branch. In that position, Brittany conducted research on relevant statutes and codes, confirmed eyewitness testimonies, and managed case paperwork, enhancing her understanding of criminal proceedings.
Brittany is proficient in Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with a broader range of clients. She also possesses practical experience in Voir Dire (jury selection), having completed a Civil Case Bootcamp at Southwestern Law School. As a Board Member of the Armenian Law Student Association, she actively coordinated club events, engaged with other schools for workshops, and successfully organized fundraising initiatives to support Artsakh families and soldiers.
